Today we are on tour for a month. We have traveled to three countries: The Netherlands, Belgium and France. We spent a lot of time in Normandy and Brittany in particular. But it still felt like too little time. We could certainly have spent a month in Brittany alone. What remained was the feeling that we had to come back. Did we set our sights too high? - Martin would say "Think big". Is it traveling or arriving? - We are definitely still looking for the right answer.

But we have one partial goal in mind every day: more sea was our goal. And we want it to stay that way. Because the sea simply makes us happy.

However, we can already say today that we were right to embark on this journey to happiness. We are learning more every day and, above all, we are getting to know ourselves and each other even better as a couple. The great thing about it is that we feel we are still getting better as a couple day by day. This realization in the "oh so darn seventh year" is certainly not something we take for granted. - We are simply grateful for it and excited to see where our journey together will take us.

Then we came to another realization today. Even on days when we plan to simply do nothing, we still do a lot: laundry, drying, airing, flight training with the drone, a bit of sport, writing a blog and...

Many of the everyday little things simply take longer than usual. Without a dishwasher and often only with cold water, doing the dishes simply takes longer, all the trips are longer. And we still have the feeling that the saying from our childhood "work first, pleasure second" is deeply ingrained in us. Whether this helps or hinders us remains to be seen.

Today was definitely good for us, as we still had time to doze off in the hammock. - We gave the tavern from yesterday a second chance today. - Today we even tried the tapas. - We also came to the same conclusion. - The first feeling is usually confirmed. It was the same today. It would be unfair to describe the food as bad. Simple cuisine is certainly a better description. The beer was again the best thing about this tavern. We should have left it at that.
