Today's route first takes us back to the sea along the Bresle and various small lakes near Mers-les-Bains. From then on, we ride parallel to the cliffs: Le Tréport, Criel-sur-Mer, Tocqueville-sur-Eu, where we leave the road and take a dirt road directly to the cliffs, which rise at a dizzying height above the stony beach.

We continue to Dieppe, Saint-Valery-en-Caux, Fécamp, Étretat and Le Havre. Here we first cross the Grand Canal du Havre and then the Seine via the Pont de Normandie. At 203 m high and 856 m long, this cable-stayed bridge has the largest span in Europe. The combination of the steep, ascending and descending bridges is somewhat reminiscent of a rollercoaster ride. Tip of the day: There is also a cycle path. - The route continues through Honfleur and along small side streets towards ... At Équemauville, a 16th century church and its carillon provide another break.

When we arrive at the Trouville campsite at around 19:45, we are exactly 15 minutes late; it is already closed. So we head for the nearest pitch. - Insight of the day: so close to the sea and yet so far away.
