It's cold this morning, just over 10 degrees. Marc has already told us that we've gotten into the habit of meditating in the mornings over the last few days. It's a very conscious and nice way to start the day. It makes things clearer. And not just in your head, but you internalize them and take them into your heart. The subconscious absorbs them. Not just that today is the most important day of our lives. But above all that the focus is on the positive things. We are not insects that are programmed, we have the free choice to be happy together and enjoy this day.
After a quick brainstorming session on how to organize the day, we start with coffee. How much we still enjoy our coffee every morning. Yesterday at the market in Sant Juan, we drank a very tasty Meke coffee at a coffee stand. It was prepared in a Rocket Mozzafiato Cronometro. Almost like in Cologne. - Pure luxury! - But I keep realizing that luxury is relative. - Would you rather have an excellent coffee on the hamster wheel or a good but not excellent one on the beach? - But we don't want to save on beans, unfortunately we couldn't buy the ones we drank. That means our coffee bean buying challenge will start again soon.
We want to go to the beach again soon, so we saddle up the car and set off. When we get to the beach, I'd like to set up the solar panel to generate electricity, but unfortunately it's too windy and I can't see any sun at the moment. Unfortunately, yoga is also out of the question as the sand is flying horizontally. We would like to do yoga as part of our morning routine, but the weather conditions often make it impossible, or when we are standing on the cliff, the ground is simply not suitable for it. Living healthily on tour really is a challenge. We are now doing really well with healthy eating, but we are still struggling a bit with exercise.
If yoga doesn't work, fruit always does. As soon as we have the first bite in our mouths, Sabine sends our mail digitally from Germany. Thank goodness there's nothing important today, so we can carry on eating and relax. Oops, that reminds me - it's already the 8th and we haven't closed the month yet. So I quickly fire up the notebook and email the data to the tax consultant. Sounds quick, but it almost was. Since we've been on the road, we have significantly fewer costs and therefore significantly fewer receipts.
Then I'll start thinking about the blog. Oh yes, today is International Women's Day. Should I write about it? Nope. I chose a man's job over 30 years ago. For those who don't know: I'm a surveyor. The topic is no longer relevant to me. I don't judge people by gender and I don't feel I've ever had an issue with a gender pay gap, neither in the public sector nor in my cleaning, sunbed or waitressing jobs.
Good Vibes only. Der Tag ist mein Freund 🙂
