Day No. 32 - Day by the sea - San Vicente de la Barquera

The weather is not great today, but much better than yesterday. Again and again the sun winks out in between and we relax. - Until 18:00 we are spared from the rain, that's something. 

Zwischendurch vervollständige ich noch die Packliste in unserem Blog. Doch vor allem ist der Tag zum Lesen gedacht: „Bretonische Verhältnisse“ von Jean-Luc Bannalec ist wie ein kurzer und vor allem urkomischer Rückblick auf die Bretagne. 

Our place El Rosal is literally located between two beaches, with the extensive beach of Merón in the north and the beach of El Tostadero in the southwest. So you have a free choice. On our side, the sea is calm and tranquil. Ideal for SUP riding. On the other side, the surf forms the perfect wave. - The surfers on the beach seem to compete not only with the wave, but especially for the best spot. 

The site is located in a hundred-year-old pine forest. This certainly provides great shade in the summer. We would not have needed it today. - But the pines show other qualities today: Just spend a day in the hammock. 

Torgit hat zwar ein wenig Yoga gemacht, doch vor allem hat sie heute in Hector „Klar Schiff“ gemacht. 

Realization of the day: I can badly watch my wife at work. - I then preferred to look away.
