"...freedom must be boundless"

Whether the freedom up there is really limitless remained a mystery to us. - So that we could recharge our and Hector's batteries, we drove to a campsite last night. We also chose one with a gym and spa. But so far we haven't had the chance to use them. Because today and tomorrow were and are office days. (Note from Torgit: My words: We travel the way we lived in Cologne 😉 )

But first of all, a campsite like this requires a certain amount of adjustment. Where we have been looking at heath, forests, cliffs or the sea over the last few days, today we are looking at white yogurt pots. Because that's what most van drivers call the white caravans. It's all a bit cramped here. We know this won't be our home for long.

Today we also had a few organizational matters to take care of. - We should, want to, have to go to Cologne for four days at the end of the month. There are a few things to sort out and our next project to get started. Hector is due to get a successor next year, a SpaceCamper T6.1 - this can now be configured and we want to define the details with VW and SpaceCamper.

The project also has a name, because there can only be one Hector. But a little bit of Hector DNA should be passed on. That's why Hector and SpaceCamper will become our new Spactor. - We also want to find a replacement for our drone. The blog will be dormant for a few days while we are away, then we will continue. - But today we first had to book flights. - What were those days when you called "Paul" at the travel agency and he took care of everything. Today you try the internet. First via fluege.de, then via skyscanner, and finally via Ryanair. - Unfortunately, there were no offers from other companies in the time we had planned. Long story short. - It took us at least three hours to make a booking today. We entered and sent our details several times, but the computer kept crashing at different points. - In the end, you're already frustrated before you even get to the airport.

So there was little positive to report today. - But even in paradise there have to be days like this. Otherwise it would be boring.

Last but not least, the sun was stolen from us, as a large caravan suddenly parked next door and cast its shadow over us. The new neighbors are a nice young couple with 2 kids who, like us, are on a long journey. I hardly need to mention that they are German, because it feels like the whole campsite is in German hands. They also prefer to stand free, just waiting for a package. The "Pastakönig" advertisement on their caravan is striking, but unfortunately they don't bring us our dinner, instead they use this advertisement to improve their travel budget.

Insight of the day: stinginess is no longer cool! - So dear airlines, take three euros fifty more and improve your service and your environmental footprint.
