When we wake up today in our clearing at Santuário da Peninha, clouds of fog are still wafting through the forest. For us, this place is worth a visit not only because of its chapel, the hermitage and the magnificent view. - Even in the fog, the forest has its charm. The many rocks attract climbers not without reason, also mountain bikers, quad and enduro riders find their territory here. Today we have to say goodbye to this mystical forest. On the descent we stop several times to look at various rock formations or plants unknown to us.

Today we want to try to have a defective tail light repaired at VW and to find a Campingazz bottle for Hector. Also some shore power would be quite good to charge our camping battery once again. - But our search is harder than expected. We find a VW dealer, but he can only help us with an appointment. Gas for the California is the bigger challenge. We are sent from pillar to post, but we do not find anything. Here we realize one thing above all, we should not be too angry about our lack of English knowledge. These would not have helped us today. Even sign and picture language did not help us. In the end we find a place for the night in the Parque de Campismo Orbitur Guincho in Cascais and Hector his electricity. Also today we are again in a forest, today it is pine trees.

When traveling, there is something new to discover every day. Even camping gas, supermarkets, gas stations, camping or pitches, showers and even dishwashing places want to be discovered.

Insight of the day: Sometimes a comfort zone is also quite nice.
