In the last few days in Cologne, we heard sentences like this more often:

„Ihr Glücklichen, ihr habt es gut, ab in den Süden, Sonne, Strand und Zweisamkeit.“

This reminds me a bit of a fitting song lyric:

„Raus aus dem Regen, ins Leben, ab in den Süden, der Sonne entgegen, was erleben, einen heben,

and then experience bikinis. - Now it comes thick man! - I save the day, I say, off goes the party,

und die Party geht ab…“

Every now and then, the question comes up, "How warm do you have it? The emphasis on warm. If we then answer with the corresponding degree number, which currently means about 15 degrees, it sounds great, of course. Because in Cologne it should be about ten degrees colder today!?

It is also less gray in gray here. - But the Portuguese tell us that we chose a cold winter. So everything is relative. The fact is that the sky is rarely bright blue. Otherwise, this is often the case at this time of year.

Is anyone complaining? No, not at all. - I just notice that four days in Germany, so with real heating and so, have softened me directly again. If I was still walking around with shorts at the same temperature before, I now put on an extra sweater. Because 15 ° degrees in Portugal are also 15 ° degrees in Germany. But the perceived temperature is much lower. You can feel that we are on the Atlantic. The wind is often gusty and cold. Rain showers are short but heavy. We are glad that our Hector has a parking heater in such moments. Because many apartments do not seem to have one.

Jetzt muss man erst mal prüfen, was da rein kommt.

Keeping things tidy in a California is really a challenge. The bench seat is constantly standing around in the way. So at least I have regular climbing exercises. Conveniently, you can't get to the back of our storage boxes from the inside. Not from the outside either, at least not when the bikes are mounted on the bike rack and the pop-up roof is up. - Which is usually the case when we are standing. Here I hope for a considerable improvement by the SpaceCamper. But we will only be able to determine that next year.

What just occurred to me on the subject of storage space, have you all opened your Advent calendar door yet? No? You don't have one? - I don't either, it didn't fit anymore. Neither in the flight luggage and also not in the van. - But that is to make a slim line. So do not fret.

Subsequently, I have once revised our start image. With the appropriate software quite simple. If it weren't for Torgit: The font doesn't work at all, you have to change the color, the font size should be uniform... I only say women.

Now I'm going to do some googling about how such a solar pocket can and must be connected. I'm curious how long the tutoring will take.

But before that, there is someone to think about. Because, strangely enough, there are quite a few birthdays on our calendar in December. I used to say that spring awakens the house project. Spring seems to wake up quite a few other things as well. That's why this morning we congratulated our sister-in-law in Spee, Mira on her birthday.

She says that she had always known that gypsy blood would flow in a house, in this case in my brother's house. We were now the living, no, the traveling proof.

And where, where, where is my Gypsy wife tonight

I've heard all the wild reports, they can't be right

But whose head is this she's dancing with on the threshing floor

whose darkness deepens in her arms a little more

And where, where is my Gypsy wife tonight?

Where, where is my Gypsy wife tonight?

Ah the silver knives are flashing in the tired old cafe

A ghost climbs on the table in a bridal negligee

She says, „My body is the light, my body is the way“

I raise my arm against it all and I catch the bride's bouquet

And where, where is my Gypsy wife tonight?

Too early for the rainbow, too early for the dove

These are the final days, this is the darkness, this is the flood

And there is no man or woman who can't be touched

But you who come between them will be judged

And where, where is my Gypsy wife tonight?

Addendum: StreetArt can be found in Portugal always and everywhere. This we discovered today on our place. Surely it was already there yesterday, but there was still a camper in front of it.

Some things cannot be explained with common sense. - But maybe I can still find an explanation. The basis for our future home is a VW Caravelle. This is available in the three equipment lines Trendline, Comfortline and Highline.

There must be a difference somewhere. But it's the other way around. It works for the basic variant, and also for the short wheelbase. Only with the Comfortline long wheelbase not. Is there a logical explanation for this? The photo shows the Trendline variant. Optically exactly as we would like to have this. - Can this really be? (Note from Torgit: You buy a new car for very, very, very much money and have the choice between completely impossible colors. Can't be, can it?)

Insight of the day: You can know a lot and still not understand everything.
