When the Germans' favorite chocolate bar was simply renamed in 1991, it caused quite a stir. We Germans were so easily robbed and plundered by a looter and robber. - Young as we were, we no longer understood the world. Yet this was a purely rational decision. At that time, the chocolate snack was already called Twix in 70 percent of all countries. So the renaming in Germany was merely the logical consequence.

We didn't just change buses either. - Hector became BUTCH, T5 became T6.1, California became SpaceCamper, short wheelbase became long wheelbase. - But nothing else changes? - Or does it? Because after we not only sought happiness with Hector, but also found it, we are now going one step further. Seeking and finding happiness will remain an essential part of our blog in our future, and therefore continues to deserve its own category. Since we want to continue to share our happiness, we are now also faced with a logical consequence. The German "Glück" is spelled with an umlaut. That this could lead to problems, I, as Häusgen, could or should have been aware. Several of my ancestors and namesakes have already emigrated and scattered all over the world. - All these emigrants have one thing in common, on their journeys they have lost two small, modest strokes on the ä. This is how the Hausgen or Haeusgen came into being.

That we also encounter a similar problem, or problems, I had not yet on the screen. But IDN domains, i.e. an umlaut domain, have their pitfalls: When we share our links on social networks, instead of the word happiness, an ACE string can be seen. Ideally, it looks as if the link is just "shot", in the worse case, as if a malicious code is spread. In addition, ä and ü only exist in the German language. In the meantime, we also have readers who speak German, but do not have umlauts on their keyboards. In addition, there are technical problems such as the fact that some freemail services do not send mails to IDN domain addresses. The fact that there are also SEO disadvantages can almost be neglected. - So if you are thinking about such a domain, forget it - solution-oriented as we are, we briefly asked ourselves the question "Love it?". - No, so leave it.

So we looked for plan B, and found it literally. Since we ourselves dare our Plan B, and that even in a covered wagon, the new domain was found quickly. A plan B is something completely new for me. I always had only plan A. But with plan B came the luck. Especially since we were and are always asked about "you dare that", "you dare that". At first, I wasn't aware that we were daring anything. But in the meantime, with every object that leaves our apartment, it becomes clearer and clearer to me. Yes, we dare something. We dare plan B in a covered wagon. - Apparently we are privileged. But that's a separate topic, more on that later.

Logical consequence:

Lucky muscle now becomes planBwagen. - Nothing else changes.

So no need to get excited. If you do, we recommend a Twix. Or a Raider, as they say from time to time. Because nothing changes, except a name, a domain. This process will happen step by step. First our Facebook page was changed, now also the blog.

We will keep you posted. For all those who have learned to love and appreciate the old name, the following for reassurance: You will still find us after the changeover at www.GLUECKsMUSKEL. de. Exactly in such a way, as one finds us already today under www.planBwagen.de. And don't forget, "nothing is as constant as change".
