Like most boys, I had my comic book heroes as a child. But they weren't called Superman, Batman, Robin, Spiderman, Silver Surfer or Captain America. - Instead, I read Asterix - I thought the traveling Bretons were cool. - But before all the others, I loved Lucky Luke. I loved the stories of the Wild West. My absolute favorite: "California or Death" - It's about a trek of settlers heading for California.

What moves people to travel around 3500 km by covered wagon?

over the Rocky Mountains, through steppes and deserts? 

Economic depression and economic crisis were already an issue in 1837, not just today. - Many people wanted, had to planBwagons and headed west in a covered wagon. Even back then, Oregon and California were considered the "land of promise". 

Crises force or encourage us to try something new. So there will always be people who dare to make a plan B. - In hindsight, our decision to try a plan B was also preceded by a crisis. - A crisis of happiness - plan A no longer made us happy. So we set out to find our happiness. - We trained our GLÜCKsMUSKEL and yes, we found our happiness. And it was in a covered wagon. Although we admit that our covered wagon is a modern and, above all, more comfortable option. 

It should be ready in June or July. It will now be called BUTCH. - Our blog will then move on to the next stage. With a new destination, not only will the domain change, but we will also get a new logo. We've been tweaking it for a while now. Four candidates have made it to our final round.
