Quite simply, a CAMPaign is a campaign for CAMPers, like you and me? You're not a camper? No problem, what is not can still be. - Either way, you can make your contribution. - If you want to make a difference, you can also use the English word for campaign. As we all know, a campaign is a collective action for or against something. This CleanUp campaign is our small contribution to the environment and against plastic waste. As well as an encouragement for more tolerance and against the raised index finger. And we are working on this together here and now. Perhaps you feel addressed. Then we would have already steered this in the right direction together.
What is our concern?
On our journey to happiness, we spend a lot of time in nature. - By the sea, in the mountains, by lakes and rivers. - One topic is omnipresent - WASTE! - Especially plastic waste. - You come to a beautiful spot and find garbage. - Are we thrilled? - Of course not. - An example from the last few days:
Does it help to moan about it? Or to find someone to blame? Does it help to clarify whether the garbage comes from campers, tourists, residents or who knows where? - Three times no!
What is the solution?
Did I break a jag out of my crown with this action? Definitely not, it was actually a lot of fun. - Do I want to call this honest work? Honest yes, work no. - Maybe I can inspire one or two others!
Are you in? - We'll carry on either way. Why am I making such a fuss about this? - Because that's what it's all about. Do good and talk about it.
Five reasons why you should start your own personal CleanUp or get involved:
I Your love of nature:
Surely you love nature as much as we do. Does it pain you to see nature or the animals that live in it suffer? - You can help to ensure that fewer fish, seabirds, seals, sea lions and turtles die from plastic waste. During storms, plastic waste ends up on the beach or back. Small pieces of plastic floating in the water are eaten by animals, causing them to die in agony. Old fishing nets, plastic rings of cans act like floating traps in which marine animals get caught. As a diver, I once had to experience for myself what it feels like to become entangled in an old fishing line. - But there is another reason. No matter where, on the beach, river or on a mountain, garbage doesn't belong in nature and it looks like shit. And who wants to share their camp with a pile of garbage?
II Plastic waste is more than just dirt:
Plastic does not simply dissolve in nature. As they are not biodegradable, plastic canisters or bottles, for example, float in the ocean for almost half a millennium. Only then are they broken down into microplastics by salt water, weather and wind. And even microplastics are not something we want in our drinking water, are they?
III Come out into the fresh air:
IV Your contribution as a camper:
Aren't we all dependent on the hospitality of a foreign country? Here you are, we are the foreigners, the traveling people, the WAGENVOLK. A CleanUp gives you the chance to give something back to the country you are traveling to.
V Communication connects:
CleanUp is communicative. Your contribution is consciously recognized. Not everyone jumps in to help. If just one angler, fisherman, local resident, police officer, camper or tourist pauses for a moment and perhaps even reconsiders their actions, you have made your contribution. - Ideally, you will get to know nice people, share your attitude and perhaps even be an incentive and role model for others. I can't promise you that you will be noticed more than someone who only demands that others act on their behalf. But isn't the question a different one?
What do you want to be? - Greta Thunberg or Boyan Slat?
Together we are strong. That's why we launched the Camper Cleanup Campaign. Just a seed so far. But perhaps you would like to make your contribution. Here you can Your own clean up post. It doesn't matter whether it's a small or a big one, whether it's a beach clean-up, a river clean-up or an ocean clean-up. Even some forest parking lots would benefit from a clean-up. Have we forgotten anything? - We look forward to your suggestions. But please don't raise your index finger. Even the smallest contribution counts!

Camper Cleanup CAMPaign - What is it?
quite simply, a CAMPaign is a campaign for CAMPers, just like you and me? You are not a camper? Not bad, what is not, can still become. - Either way you can make your contribution. - If you want to make a difference, you can use the English word for campaign. As is well known, a campaign is a joint action for or against something. This CleanUp campaign is our small contribution for the environment and against plastic waste. It is also an encouragement for more tolerance and against the raised forefinger. And we are working on this together here and now. Maybe you feel addressed. If so, we would have already steered it into the right direction together.
What is our concern? On our journey to happiness we spend a lot of time in nature. – At the sea, in the mountains, at lakes and rivers. – One theme is omnipresent – rubbish! – Especially plastic waste. – You come to a nice spot and find rubbish. – Are we thrilled? – Of course not. – An example from the last few days: We arrived at a beach and are sitting in front of the van. A few Germans come along. Soon you get to the topic beach. – You have to explain that there have been terrible storms in this region in recent weeks. Rivers burst their banks, trees were uprooted, fish were thrown onto the beach and a lot of rubbish was washed onto the beaches. – Of course this is not nice. On top of that there is rubbish that is left behind by residents or tourists. Now you can of course ask yourself why in this case „the Spanish“ first cleaned up the towns and only then the beach at the bird sanctuary. – „I would also clean up my own front door first „Does it help to dwell on this? Or to identify a guilty party? Does it help to clarify whether the rubbish comes from campers, tourists, residents or who knows where? – Three times no!
What is the solution? less oiling, less finger pointing, less condemning. Instead, act more. – If every tourist, every camper takes a bit of rubbish with him, much is cleaner. Is it really easier to shift responsibility away than to take over? – Maybe, but this is not our nature. The result of one ½ hour of „work“ is six bags full of plastic waste, including bottles, oil canisters, but most of all plastic lids. It is precisely these small particles that can rob the birds in this „bird sanctuary“ of their lives. But there are also three fishing nets, so did I break a tooth from my crown with this action? Definitely not, in fact it was really fun. – Do I want to call this honest work? Honestly yes, work no. – Maybe I can still instigate one or the other!?!Are you with me? – We’ll continue one way or another. Why do I make such a fuss about it? – Because it is exactly about making a fuss. Do good and talk about it.
Five reasons why you too should start or participate in your personal CleanUp:
1. your love for nature: You certainly love nature as much as we do. Does it hurt you to yearn when nature or the animals living in it suffer? - You can help to reduce the number of fish, seabirds, seals, sea lions and turtles that die from plastic waste. In storms, plastic rubbish ends up on the beach or back. Small pieces of plastic that float in the water are eaten by animals, causing them to die in agony. Old fishing nets, plastic rings from cans act like floating traps in which the sea animals get caught. As a diver I once had to experience for myself what it feels like to get tangled up in an old fishing line - But there is another reason. No matter where, on the beach, river or mountain, rubbish doesn't belong in nature and it looks like shit. And who wants to share their camp with a pile of rubbish?
2. plastic rubbish is more than just dirt:Plastic does not simply dissolve in nature. Because it is not biodegradable, plastic canisters or bottles, for example, float in the ocean for almost half a millennium. Only after that are they decomposed to microplastics by salt water, weather and wind. And even microplastics is something we don't want in our drinking water, isn't it?
3. come out into the fresh air:You spend a day in nature. Sun and fresh air included. This is also GlucksMUSKEL training. You also have time to think about your own consumer behaviour. For me, it is now clear that I will consume more consciously in the future and above all shop more. I used to laugh about the „Jutebeutel“ faction and „Unpacked“ shops I reserved for eco-spinners. This is a daily challenge, especially at Vanlife. Because drinking water on our tour is almost exclusively packed in plastic bottles. It is not always possible to find a weekly or farmers‘ market on the way. In the supermarket there are few to hardly any items packed free of plastic.
4. your contribution as a camper:Aren't we all dependent on the hospitality of a foreign country? Here you are, we are the foreigners, gypsies, the WAGENVOLK. A CleanUp gives and and you the chance to give something back to the country you are visiting.
5. communication connects:CleanUp is communicative. Your contribution is consciously perceived. Not everyone jumps in and helps. If just one angler, fisherman, resident, policeman, camper or tourist pauses for a moment, maybe even rethinks his actions, you have made your contribution. - Ideally you will meet nice people, share your attitude and maybe even be an incentive and example for others. I cannot promise you that you will be noticed more than someone who only demands that others act for him. But isn't the question another one?
What do you want to be? - Greta Thunberg or Boyan Slat? Together you are strong. That is why we have created the Camper Cleanup Campaign. So far just a seed. But maybe you would like to make your contribution. Here you can post your own Clean Up. It doesn't matter whether it's a small or a big one, whether it's a Beach Cleanup, a River Cleanup or an Ocean Cleanup. Also some forest car parks would not harm a Clean-Up. Have we forgotten anything? - We are looking forward to your suggestions. But please leave off the raised index finger. Even the smallest contribution counts!
?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ??
¿No eres campista?
- One theme is omnipresent - ¡BASURA! - Especialmente residuos plásticos. - Llegas a un buen lugar y encuentras basura. - ¿Estamos emocionados?
– „Primero barrería frente a mi propia puerta“
¿Ayuda no olvidarlo? - ¡Tres veces no!
- ¿Greta Thunberg or Boyan Slat?Juntos somos fuertes. That's why we started the Campaña de limpieza de campistas. So far only one semester.
E estamos trabalhando nisso juntos agora e aqui. Talvez você se sinta endereçado. Então, nós o teríamos conduzido juntos no caminho certo. Qual é a nossa preocupação? Qual é a solução?
As a mergulhador, once again I have to experiment with what it means to be an amarador in a great fishing line.
But microplastics are something we don't want in the water we drink, right?
It is therefore clear to me that in the future I will consume with greater awareness and, mainly, buy. I want to get rid of the "bag of jute" facção and eat the "desempacotadas" reserved for organic farmers. This is a serious problem, mainly in Vanlife. Because the potable water is almost exclusively packaged in plastic garbage cans in our country.
5. a comunicação conecta:A limpeza é comunicativa. - Ideally, you will meet other people, share your passion and become an incentive and model for others. I can't promise that you will be noticed more than anyone else, even though you want others to follow you. But the question is not different?
O que você quer ser? - Greta Thunberg ou Boyan Slat?Juntos somos Fortes.
– Siamo eccitati? Arrivi velocemente in spiaggia. – Tre volte no!
Assolutamente no, è stato davvero divertente. – Voglio chiamare questo lavoro onesto? Onestamente sì, lavorare no. – Forse posso istigare l’uno o l’altro!?! Ci stai? – Andremo avanti in entrambi i casi. Perché sto facendo tante storie? – Perché si tratta esattamente di rispondere. Fai cose buone e parlane.
Only then will microplastics be composted into saltwater, air and water. And microplastics are also something we don't want in our potable water, right?
- Greta Thunberg or Boyan Slat?Insieme siamo forti. Ecco perché abbiamo avviato la campagna Camper Cleanup. Finora solo un seme. But forse vorresti dare il tuo contributo. Abbiamo dimenticato qualcosa? - Attendiamo i vostri suggerimenti. Even the smallest contribution counts!
1. your love for nature:You have more love for nature than we do. Does it take you longer than nature or the animals that live in it? Small pieces of plastic that float in the water are picked up by animals, which then die in fear of death. Old visnets and plastic rings of blikjes act as draining traps where animals are caught. As a student, I had to find out for myself what it means to be cut in an old visor. - But he is still talking. And how do you want to fight this battle with a high altitude?
Because they are not biologically degradable, e.g. plastic jerricans or flosses, have been in the ocean for almost half a millennium. But then they are broken down into microplastics by water, wind and water. And we don't want microplastics in our drinking water, do we?
A CleanUp gives you the opportunity to get back to the country you are traveling to.
5. communicatie verbindt:CleanUp is communicatief. Your order is consciously waargenomen. Not everyone jumps up and helps. If you are a visser, visser, buurtbewoner, politieagent, camper or toerist even pauzeert, eventuellueel zelfs nadenkt over zijn daden, dan heb je jouw bijdrage geleverd - Idealiter leer je aardige mensen kennen, deel je je je houding en kun je zelfs een stimulans en rolmodel zijn voor anderen. I can't believe that you will be noticed more than someone who is only aware that others are acting on your behalf. But isn't the question different?
Wat wil je worden? - Greta Thunberg of Boyan Slat?Samen staan we sterk. That's why we started the Camper Cleanup campaign. Totally just one day. But maybe you want to share your thoughts. Here you can post your own opruimactie. Have we missed something? - We follow your suggestions.
The link to post the respective action no longer works.
Unfortunately, your link to campercleanupcampaign no longer works. I FOUND YOU ON YouTube. Found it. That's very interesting, traveling with such a mini-mobile. Yes, that would be a dream. I've had MS for over 10 years. So I can only enjoy other people's travel reports. I've never been further than the border, and today I can't go any further anyway. I don't think my scooter will ever get there. The cash register model is only good for that much. Well, I've upgraded it. It goes exactly 15 km/h. And I can only walk a few meters. But thank you very much, I was very pleased to hear about your travels. You see, you've infected me, that's exactly what I wanted to report. I got myself a long pair of tongs and I have enough old bags, so I'm making my mini contribution to a clean earth. Thank you and best regards Frank from CB.

Hi Frank,
Your nice post was lost and has now been found again. I think it's awesome that you're doing your bit to collect garbage despite your handicap. Just a person with special abilities. Some people can take a leaf out of your book.
This design is wicked! You certainly know how to keep a reader amused.
Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to
start my own blog (well, almost...HaHa!) Excellent job.
I really loved what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it.
Too cool!

Hi! I realize this is kind of off-topic but I had to ask.
Does managing a well-established blog such as yours
require a massive amount of work? I am completely new to blogging but I do write in my diary every day.
I'd like to start a blog so I will be able to share
my personal experience and thoughts online.
Please let me know if you have any kind of suggestions or tips for new
aspiring blog owners. Appreciate it!
A blog means significantly more work than we had previously imagined. That's why most blogs fall asleep after a while. Our tip: Strate only if it is a project that is really close to your heart.
