A look at the solar yield showed what needed to be optimized. - But exactly in this possibility lies the essential advantage of an additional solar pocket, compared to a system installed on the roof. Without having to reposition, one simply turns the foldable solar module with the sun. The integrated elevation helps a little. But it seems better to mount the module on a tree and rotate it with the sun.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Offgridtec_Solartasche\"><\/span><span style=\"font-size: xx-large;\">Offgridtec solar bag:<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The solar cells of our Offgridtec\u00a9 FSP 2 Ultra are from Sunpower, (C60 cell). Via the included Victron SmartSolar 75\/15 MPPT charge controller, the generated energy flows directly into the battery. Via Bluetooth, the charge can be monitored on iPhone &amp; Co.<\/p>\n<p>With its dimensions of 560 x 440 x 100mm when folded, the module will always find a place. The stated weight of 5kg seems to me to be measured without the cable. - But either way, the whole thing is fun. I spontaneously think of the above quote, which I would like to add. - ... and makes not only self-sufficient, but free.<\/p>\n<p>The folding module is available in three sizes. We have since upgraded to the 200 watt variant. Especially since, compared to campers with their flat roof modules, we have the advantage of being able to align both our solar bag and our roof module in such a way that they continue to be effective, despite the flat sun.  For us, at the end of the evening, it means we can spend an extra day on the beach. Water and electricity, these have become elementary issues for us. They mean freedom and independence.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Faustregeln\"><\/span><span style=\"font-size: xx-large;\">Rules of thumb:<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Here are a few more rules of thumb for solar yield. - Please note, I am not a professional. I apologize for any errors and welcome any comments.<\/p>\n<p>The wattage of a solar module gives the average daily yield in Wh in summer\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">(meaning May to October).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>So a 100Wp solar panel generates 400Wh on an average summer day\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">(more on nice days, less on bad days).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Our 120W solar bag at the time should thus realize, on a summer day, an average of 480Wh.<\/p>\n<p>Angeblich kann im\u00a0Winter, im schlimmsten Fall, nur mit einem Viertel des Ertrages aus dem Sommer gerechnet werden. Das k\u00f6nnen wir bisher nicht best\u00e4tigen, denn unsere Ertr\u00e4ge w\u00e4hren dann bisher \u00fcberdurchschnittlich gut. Und dies trotz niedrig stehender Sonne und teilweise bew\u00f6lktem Himmel. Doch wer beschwert sich schon \u00fcber Mehrertr\u00e4ge. &#8211; Doch wir behalten das im Auge und werden weiter berichten. Unser bisherig gr\u00f6\u00dfter Ertrag war an Nikolaus mit 530Wh. Sollen wir uns jetzt beim Nikolaus beschweren. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>The yield of solar modules is influenced by a variety of factors.<\/p>\n<p>The solar yield is significantly influenced by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 Irradiation (strength, angle)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 Pollution (modules, atmosphere)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 Temperature (modules, environment)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 Alignment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If, for example, a tree casts some shade, the effect is immediately apparent on the app. The right charge controller also seems to be an elementary topic here.<\/p>\n<p>How much other system components influence the yield (charging control, wiring, cabling, etc.), I can not yet assess exactly.<\/p>\n<p>But several of our neighbors also swear by the Victron SmartSolar 75\/15 MPPT charge controller included in our package. So we seem to have been lucky, or not unlucky, in that we chose the right partner.<\/p>\n<p>It is important to us to fully charge the battery regularly so that the longest possible service life can be achieved.<\/p>\n<p>What has surprised me the most so far are the still quite positive yields of one of our neighbors. His solar bag has been in use for a long time and looks more than worn out. The protective film is off in large areas. The modules are scratched from daily use in the sand. Nevertheless, the values are only slightly worse than with our new module. So you are not forced to move your van. Thanks to our pop-up roof, the solar module can be aligned well even when the sun is flat. For us, this means that we can stay one day longer on the spot (for example at the seaside) thanks to the solar bag. There are many possibilities for the installation location of your solar panel. In some cases, a tree might be a good alternative. Since the solar module is foldable, it is easy to stow away compactly when you move on. To store our electricity we use two lithium ion camping batteries from RELION Rb100D. The battery has a capacity of 100Ah and is therefore our own small power plant. Our super flat solar system consists of two panels with 200Wp each. Previously we had a solar pocket of 120Wp - so a real increase and optimization of our solar output. From the solar cells of our Offgridtec\u00a9 FSP 2 Ultra from Sunpower the power goes directly to the battery via the included Victron SmartSolar 75\/15 MPPT charge controller. You can easily check the charge of the battery via Bluetooth on your cell phone. As additional features, there is a charge booster of 50A for intelligent and gentle charging, as well as a battery monitor with deep discharge protection. Another helper is the battery computer for a 2\/3 battery. A 100 watt peak solar panel produces about 400 watt-hours (Wh) per day. Our former 120Wp solar panel yielded about 480Wh on a summer day - however, we had our record of 530Wh on St. Nicholas. Besides the power of the module, however, other factors influence the solar yield of solar modules. One of these factors is the irradiation angle and strength; however, these can be compensated quite well with the orientation of our installation roof and the solar pocket. In addition, the ambient as well as the module temperature, but also possible module and atmospheric pollution play a role. To keep the lifetime of our battery as long as possible, we fully charge our battery as often as possible. However, the experience with this solar pocket of some of our camper neighbors seems to be quite positive. It seems that the solar yield decreases only minimally even after years of use. Ohne um zu parken, dreht man einfach das faltbares Solarmodul mit der Sonne. Die integrierte Aufst\u00e4nderung hilft dabei ein wenig. Doch besser scheint es das Modul an einen Baum zu montieren und mit der Sonne zu drehen. Die Solarzellen unseres Offgridtec\u00a9 FSP 2 Ultra stammen von Sunpower, (C60 Zelle). \u00dcber den mitgelieferten Victron SmartSolar 75\/15 MPPT Laderegler flie\u00dft die erwirtschafte Energie direkt in die Batterie. Per Bluetooth kann die Ladung auf dem iPhone \u00fcberwacht werden.<\/p><p>Mit seinen Abmessungen, von 560 x 440 x 20mm im gefaltetem Zustand, findet das Modul immer einen Platz. Das angegebene Gewicht von 2.7kg scheint mir ohne das Kabel gemessen zu sein. - Doch so oder so macht das ganze Spa\u00df. Mir f\u00e4llt spontan das o.g. Zitat ein, welches ich gerne erg\u00e4nzen w\u00fcrde. - ... und macht nicht nur autark, sondern frei.<\/p><p>Das Faltmodul gibt es in drei Gr\u00f6\u00dfen. Wir haben inzwischen auf die 200 Watt Variante aufger\u00fcstet. Vor allem, da wir im Vergleich zu Campern, mit ihren flachen Dachmodulen, den Vorteil haben, trotz flach stehender Sonne, sowohl unsere Solartasche, als auch unser Dachmodul, dank Aufstelldach so ausrichten k\u00f6nnen, dass sie weiterhin effektiv sind. F\u00fcr uns <img class=\"size-medium wp-image-3848 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/planbwagen.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/\u00f6llk-139x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"139\" height=\"300\" \/>bedeutet es am Ende des Abends, dass wir einen Tag l\u00e4nger am Strand stehen k\u00f6nnen. Wasser und Strom, das sind f\u00fcr uns elementare Themen geworden. Sie bedeuten Freiheit und Unabh\u00e4ngigkeit.<\/p><p>Hier noch ein paar Faustregel zum Solarertrag. - Bitte beachten, ich bin kein Profi. Fehler bitte ich zu entschuldigen und freue mich \u00fcber diesbez\u00fcgliche Anmerkungen.<\/p><p>Die Watt-Leistung eines Solarmoduls ergibt den durchschnittlichen Tagesertrag in Wh im Sommer<\/p><p>(gemeint ist Mai bis Oktober).<\/p><p><img class=\"size-medium wp-image-3849 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/planbwagen.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/kjh-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p><p>Ein 100Wp Solarmodul erzeugt also 400Wh an einem durchschnittlichen Sommertag<\/p><p>(an sch\u00f6nen Tagen mehr, an schlechten Tagen weniger).<\/p><p>Unsere damalige 120W Solartasche sollte somit, an einem Sommertag, im Schnitt 480Wh realisieren.<\/p><p>Angeblich kann im Winter, im schlimmsten Fall, nur mit einem Viertel des Ertrages aus dem Sommer gerechnet werden. Das k\u00f6nnen wir bisher nicht best\u00e4tigen, denn unsere Ertr\u00e4ge w\u00e4hren dann bisher \u00fcberdurchschnittlich gut. Und dies trotz niedrig stehender Sonne und teilweise bew\u00f6lktem Himmel. Doch wer beschwert sich schon \u00fcber Mehrertr\u00e4ge. - Doch wir behalten das im Auge und werden weiter berichten. Unser bisherig gr\u00f6\u00dfter Ertrag war an Nikolaus mit 530Wh. Sollen wir uns jetzt beim Nikolaus beschweren. ;-)<\/p><p>Der Ertrag von Solarmodulen wird von einer Vielzahl von Faktoren beeinflusst.<\/p><p>Ma\u00dfgeblich beeinflusst wird der Solar-Ertrag von:<img class=\"size-medium wp-image-3846 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/planbwagen.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/ojlk-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p><p>Einstrahlung (St\u00e4rke, Winkel)<\/p><p>Verschmutzung (Module, Atmosph\u00e4re)<\/p><p>Temperatur (Module, Umgebung)<\/p><p>Ausrichtung<\/p><p>Wirft z.B. ein Baum etwas Schatten ist die Auswirkung auf der App sofort ersichtlich. Der richtige Laderegler scheint hier ebenfalls ein elementares Thema zu sein.<\/p><p>Wie sehr weitere Systemkomponenten den Ertrag (Laderegelung, Verschaltung, Verkabelung usw.) beeinflussen, kann ich noch nicht genau einsch\u00e4tzen.<\/p><p>Doch mehrere unserer Nachbarn schw\u00f6ren ebenfalls auf den in unserem Paket mitgelieferten Victron SmartSolar 75\/15 MPPT Laderegler. So scheinen wir Gl\u00fcck gehabt zu haben, oder kein Pech, in dem wir den richtigen Partner gew\u00e4hlt haben.<\/p><p>Uns ist wichtig die Batterie regelm\u00e4\u00dfig komplett voll zu laden, damit eine m\u00f6glichst lange Lebensdauer erreicht werden kann.<\/p><p>Was mich bisher am meisten \u00fcberrascht hat, sind die immer noch durchaus positiven Ertr\u00e4ge eines unserer Nachbarn. Dessen Solartasche ist schon lange im Einsatz und sieht mehr als mitgenommen aus. Die Schutzfolie ist in weiten Bereichen ab. Die Module sind vom t\u00e4glicher Nutzung im Sand zerkratzt. Dennoch sind die Werte nur unwesentlich schlechter, als mit unserem neuen Modul.
