Wir sind bereits fr\u00fch aufgestanden, und stehen p\u00fcnktlich um 7:30, Torgit vor dem B\u00e4cker und ich vor dem Metzger. Denn um 10:00 Uhr wollen wir bereits in Darmstadt, bei Spacecamper sein. Da wollen wir doch wenigstens ein Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck mitbringen. Inzwischen kennen wir von der Hausmesse, von der Caravan in D\u00fcsseldorf und von einigen Telefonaten schon den ein oder anderen Mitarbeiter im Hause Spacecamper. Bereits beim Eintreten werden wir sehr famili\u00e4r begr\u00fc\u00dft. Irgendwie sp\u00fcrt man im gesamten Haus, deren Motto, &#8222;wir lieben das&#8220;. &#8211; Ja, die lieben das. Die meisten Mitarbeiter fahren einen SpaceCamper und sind Camping Enthusiasten.<\/p>\n<p>Although we had prepared for the appointment accordingly - we had already been to VW beforehand and inspected the Caravelle intensively - the options are overwhelming. There are so many decisions to make.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Selbsterfahrung_VW_California\"><\/span>Self-experience VW California:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>We certainly have the huge advantage of having lived in a VW California for several weeks now. We now know what's good, but we also know what could be improved. The great thing about SpaceCamper is that you can really feel how much experience has gone into the project. There is no water head here that prevents development.<\/p>\n<p>With the Bulli and California customers, VW not only has a huge fan community, but above all an uncanny customer identification and know-how. For anyone who not only drives around in their vehicle, but also sleeps, cooks, lives and works in it, the Bulli quickly becomes a home.<\/p>\n<p>You may not believe it, but there are people who regularly stay in five-star hotels for work, but prefer to sleep in the parking lot at night. I used to think that was crazy. Not any more.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bulli_Fangemeinde\"><\/span><span style=\"font-size: xx-large;\">Bulli fan community:<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>What I find a pity is that the VW developers don't seem to think it's necessary to listen to their fan community. Because when I read the one or other post on the various Facebook groups on the subject of Bulli or California, I think: hey, useful suggestions are already being posted here for a T3, T4, T5, T6, but far too few are being implemented. - What a pity! So in the end, free know-how is for nothing.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Often it is simply small things that are incomprehensible. You can find two examples of this in our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.planbwagen.de\/en\/spacecamper-terranger-co\/the-vw-configurator-equipment-lines-trendline-comfortline-and-highline\/\">next blog post<\/a>. This deals with the topic of order in the VW California, as well as the VW Online Configurator.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>These are often penny articles, so it can't always be a matter of money. Spacecamper is completely different: when we sat down with Markus Liebenau, the sales manager, yesterday, he made a note of several of our suggestions, saying, \"This is the second time I've heard this, I'll take it to our team meeting. We have to find a solution to this.\" - Not everything works at SpaceCamper either, as it is a modular and not an individual outfitter. But you can always sense that solutions are being sought here. That's fun.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Emotionale_Bemusterung\"><\/span><span style=\"font-size: xx-large;\">Emotional sampling:<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>But in the end, it's also about emotional issues. In the home, these are topics such as bathrooms and kitchens. Hardly anyone really spends as much time on home technology as they do on bathroom objects, fittings and tiles. - It's the same here, in the end we spend the longest time discussing the leather color, the kitchen module and the wooden fronts. Although the topic of self-sufficiency was very, very important to us beforehand, this is where we spend the least time.<\/p>\n<p>When we sit in the car on the way back after 6 hours, we are both pretty exhausted but happy. Die meisten Mitarbeiter fahren einen SpaceCamper und sind Camping Enthusiasten.<\/p><p>Obwohl wir uns auf den Termin entsprechend vorbereitet haben, wir waren ja schon vorher bei VW und haben die Caravelle intensiv begutachtet, erschlagen einen die M\u00f6glichkeiten. Es sind\u00a0somit unheimlich viele Entscheidungen zu treffen.<\/p><p>Dabei haben wir sicherlich schon den Riesenvorteil, dass mir nun schon etliche Wochen in einem VW California leben. Wir wissen inzwischen was gut ist, doch wir wissen auch was verbesserungsw\u00fcrdig ist. Das Sch\u00f6ne bei SpaceCamper ist, dass man hier wirklich sp\u00fcrt, wie viel Erfahrung in dem Projekt steckt. Hier ist kein Wasserkopf,\u00a0der Entwicklungen verhindert.<\/p><p>VW hat mit dem Bulli- und California-Kunden nicht nur eine\u00a0riesige Fan Gemeinde, sondern vor allem eine unheimliche Kunden Identifikation und Know How. Wer mit seinem Fahrzeug nicht\u00a0nur durch die Gegend f\u00e4hrt, sondern darin schl\u00e4ft, kocht, wohnt und arbeitet, f\u00fcr den ist der Bulli ganz schnell ein zu Hause.<\/p><p>Man mag es nicht glauben, doch es gibt Menschen, die beruflich regelm\u00e4\u00dfig in f\u00fcnf Sterne Hotels residieren, doch nachts zum Schlafen, lieber auf den Parkplatz gehen. Fr\u00fcher habe ich so etwas f\u00fcr verr\u00fcckt gehalten. Heute nicht mehr.<\/p><p>Was ich schade finde, ist, dass die VW Entwickler es scheinbar\u00a0nicht\u00a0f\u00fcr n\u00f6tig halten, einmal auf ihre Fan Gemeinde zu h\u00f6ren. Denn, wenn ich\u00a0den ein oder anderen post auf den diversen Facebook Gruppen zum Thema Bulli oder California lese, denke ich: hey hier werden schon bei einem T3, T4, T5, T6 sinnvolle\u00a0 Anregungen gepostet, doch es ger\u00e4t\u00a0viel zu wenig in die Umsetzung. - Schade! Somit ist kostenloses Know How am Ende auch umsonst.<\/p><p>Oft handelt es sich um Pfennigs-Artikel, es kann also nicht immer eine Sache des Geldes sein. Ganz anders bei Spacecamper: Als wir gestern mit Markus Liebenau, dem Vertriebsleiter zusammensitzen, notiert er sich mehrere unserer Anregungen, mit den Worten,\u201cdas\u00a0 h\u00f6re ich jetzt zum zweiten Mal, das nehme ich mit in unser Team Meeting. Hierzu m\u00fcssen wir L\u00f6sung finden.\u201c - Auch bei SpaceCamper\u00a0 geht nicht alles, es ist ja ein modularer und kein individueller Ausbauer.\u00a0Doch man sp\u00fcrt\u00a0immer, hier wird nach L\u00f6sungen gesucht. Das macht Spa\u00df.<\/p><p>Doch am Ende, geht es auch wieder um die emotionale Themen. Beim Haus sind das Themen wie B\u00e4der und K\u00fcchen. Kaum einer h\u00e4lt sich wirklich mit der Haus Technologie, so lange auf, wie mit\u00a0Badobjekten, Armaturen und\u00a0Fliesen. - Hier ist es genauso, am Ende diskutieren wir am l\u00e4ngsten \u00fcber die Lederfarbe, das K\u00fcchenmodul und die Holzfronten. Obwohl uns im Vorfeld das Thema Autarkie sehr, sehr wichtig war, verbrauchen wir hier die wenigste Zeit.<\/p><p>Als wir auf dem R\u00fcckweg, nach 6 Stunden im Auto sitzen, sind wir beide ziemlich platt aber gl\u00fccklich. Das \u00e4ndert sich auch nicht durch das bescheidene Wetter auf der Bahn.<\/p><p>Abends haben wir noch einen Termin bei einem Anwalt. Auch dieser Termin gestaltet sich positiv und konstruktiv. Als wir endlich zu Hause ankommen ,\u00a0sitzen\u00a0wir\u00a0noch ein wenig mit Steffen und Benjamin zusammen. Endlich mal wieder Zeit f\u00fcr Schmitz K\u00f6lsch.
